Osheaga is an indie music festival that includes many Rock acts, as well as some Folk and Hip Hop. The festival takes place in downtown Montreal in the spacious Parc Jean-Drapeu. The festival is one of the biggest of its kind in Canda, and attracts many visitors from across the border.
The festival has becoming steadily more corporate, with more and more sponsored tat and advertisement banners, since its inception. Its convenient location in the centre of Montreal, as well as its spacious and green fields, however, make for a pleasant experience.
The Cure, Beck, Kendrick Lemar, and Mumford and Sons all played at the 2013 edition of Osheaga Music Festival.
VIP tickets give the holders a series of special privileges, including: access to a special viewing area at the 2 main stages, a golf cart to take them between the stages, catered dinner in a private lounge and access to a private bar and restrooms.

There are 6 different stages, including 2 main stages, and a dome for dancing, as well as an arts tent.
