Is the hotel packages a part of the global journey on february 9th?

Hello ameza22

You can choose whether you want a hotel stay or a camping stay when putting together your global journey package.

Hotel packages usually cost a little bit more.

Is there anything else we can advise on?

How old do you have to be to book the hotel? and can have 2 people for the hotel package?

2013, January 23 - 12:06pm

You have to be 18+ in general to attend and you can choose 1 person or 2 person hotel packages.

Are you able to book the hotel package with someone else's credit card? Would you have to present that credit card at the hotel even though its not under your name?

It depends, will that person be with you when you go?

No,they will not. It will be my dads credit card. But only me and a friend are going.

Hello ameza22

If we were in your position this is what we would do.

On the Tomorrowland site where it mentions the packages, they also list the hotel names, perhaps email or call your query to the hotel you are hoping to stay at and see what their rules are.

That's what we would do because some hotels would need to see card and ID, some don't.

Will Tomorrowland webpage open a link closer to th 9th or which is the site where you can buy Global Journey -packages? There was a comment in pre-egistration email "IMPORTANT: For the purchase of Global Journey Packages (=Travel Packages) you do not have to use this specific link."

Hello,

More information will be revealed by the organisers closer to the date, as they are due to add more to the current website.

Can you please explain me why it should be an advantage to buy global journey-tickets instead of world wide-tickets? I'm thinking a bit of some economical reasons, if there's any. In Global Journey you get ticket, dreamville pass and accommodation (tent), flight, transfer from airport and so on for about 750 euro pr. person. If you're planning it all yourself it will approximately cost about 450 euro* for the same i guess. It's a difference between 300 euro which I think is quite a lot.

  • ) just a calculated guess

Do people choose global journey-tickets because of it's all organized and easier, because it's much more expensive than organizing by yourself?

It's not a rant at all, just a currious question :-)

Hi Leipheimer02

People tend to choose the package because it's all organised for you, sometimes people either don't have the time, or the online confidence or experience to book the trip themselves.

So yes it is a lot more expensive, plus depending on which country you are flying from, it may actually be cheaper to stick with the package as flight prices from certain countries change rapidly day by day depending on season and location.

Hope that gives you a little food for thought :-)

Thanks a lot for the answer :-)

I have a last question which might already had been answered, but I'am a bit doubt about when the different tickets went on sale? Global Journey-tickets is for people whose want it all organized by "Tomorrowland" and World Wide-tickets it's for those who are planning it all by yourself. Which means if I want to drive to Boom with my own camping materials, I can first order tickets from 16th of February?

Ohh maybe you also can answer me about DreamVille-pass. Do I have to order DreamVille-pass at the same time as the tickets or can I wait some few days? I mean the DreamVille-passes won't be sold out right?

Yes if you are organizing the trip yourself, you will need to purchase tickets on the 16th.

And in regards to Dreamville, we'd advise buying those tickets on the same day as they sell out quickly, better to be safe then sorry :-)

Hi wikifestivals

I'm planning to go to Tomorrowland this year with some friends and we've been looking at the prices of global journeys and worldwide tickets. We are going from London and the price difference is more than obvious. I am well aware worldwide tickets sell out faster than the speed of light, so I was wondering What are the main advantages of the Global journey package for us? Are we assured transportation to and from the festival when we arrive or do we need to compete with everybody else that arrives in the same train/plane to get a shuttle to the festival? Our biggest concern is if we pay 800 euros just to get a ticket and then being left by ourselves like everybody else. If you do get transport assured, is that programmed according to your train/flight arrival and departure times?

Thank you.

Hi all I would like to ask the question about the global Journey. If February 1st purchase package hotel + bus in the package there are also tickets for entrance to tomorrowland? ... Why two people on the internet told me that the tickets are not included in packages on sale from 1 February. It seems a little absurd this thing! .... You know to give me a more secure?
