Rhythms of the World is a world music festival held in the town of Hitchin, in Hertfordshire. In 2014 it will be held on the 2nd and 3rd of August. The event is charity run, and seeks to reach out to a wider public audience, attracting up to 30,000 visitors over the course of the 2 days. In addition to the annual festival, the Rhythms of the World Community Outreach Programme brings the event's spirit to those who might not otherwise have the opportunity to attend.

It is a world music festival organised by a charity, so expect a laid back inclusive atmosphere that encourages national and ethnic diversity.

Led entirely by volunteers, Rhythms of the World (ROTW) aims to unite diverse communities through music and the arts. ROTW organises a range of cultural events, culminating in an annual festival of world music, dance, arts and cuisine in Hitchin, Hertfordshire.
