A two day event held in Citrus Ball Park, Florida. The line up attracts rock and Indie acts for a great November Party. The event takes place in and around a football which seats over 70,000 people. This is the American way of doing a festival.
Orlando Calling Line Up
Orlando Calling is in its inaugural year, and the line up for 2011 is The Killers, The Raconteurs, The Pixies, The Doobie Brothers, Kid Rock, Gogol Bordello, The Roots, Less Than Jake, Bob Seger, Dwight Yoakam, Blues Traveller, Chris isaak, Buddy Guy, The Supervillans, Kid Cudi, O.A.R, Drive by Truckers, Dr Dog, Lucero, The Avett Brothers, The Flatlanders, Pete Yorn, Warren Haynes Band. Del McCoury, Hindu Cowboys, Iron & Wine, Deep Dark Woods, Civil Teilight, Elizabeth Cook, Gonzo Jones, Los Lonely Boys, States, Le Blorr, Kaleigh Baker and Renee & The Translators.
Orlando Calling Vibe
With this being the festivals first year, there will be a lot of excitement and anticipation in the air. The lake setting and foozball Pitch should make it a quintessential American experience.
Orlando Calling On Site Information
Smoking is permitted on site but is prohibited in any enclosed or indoor spaces.
Any children over the age of three will have to purchase a ticket due to the nature of seat reservations in the Stage 1 area.
No food or alconol can be brought in from outside the festival with the exception of 1l of water per person.
Orlando Calling Stages and Other Entertainment
There are five stages at the festival, the main one being inside the Citrus Bowl Park Stadium.
Orlando Calling Food and Drink
There will be a varied selection of food available throughout the site. Bars will be located near every stage, although it is necessary to have a wristband proving you’re over 21, which are available at designated tents.
Orlando Calling Camping and Other Accommodation
There is no Camping at the event, although it is possible to book hotel packages when booking your ticket.
Orlando Calling Location and Travel
The festival is located at 1500 West Church Street, Orlando, Florida. The closest airport is Orlando International which is a short drive from the festival car parking Amway Arena- Leaving the airport take the SR 408 towards downtown/Orlando then go onto 1-4 E via exit 10B heading to Daytona Beach, then take the Amelia street exit, 83A towards us 92 Centrocomplex, then turn left onto west Amelia stet and the car park will be on you left.
